showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally east of
highway 69 in Oklahoma and in northwest Arkansas. They were most
widespread and heaviest in Carroll, Madison and Crawford counties in
Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Fort Smith area. The
precipitation was in the Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville area.
Movement was to the northeast at around 40 mph. The average amount
where it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch with
maximum amounts of an inch to an inch and a half. Intensity
decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late
this morning and into this afternoon, a chance of showers and
thunderstorms with a chance of showers and a chance of thunderstorms
along. Some thunderstorms may be severe .
