Subject: Migration of all real-time LAMP and Gridded LAMP Webpages
And One Storm Surge Webpage to New Web Server, Effective
  May 22, 2024

On or about May 22, 2024, the NWS Meteorological Development
Laboratory
(MDL) Decision Support Division (DSD) will migrate A) all real-time
Localized Aviation Model Output Statistics (LAMP) and Gridded LAMP
(GLMP)
webpages and B) one storm surge web page to a new web server, and
will
discontinue a legacy page that displays LAMP station forecast images.

The web server that currently hosts LAMP, GLMP, and storm surge web
products is scheduled to be decommissioned in June 2024. These pages
are
being migrated to a new web server prior to the decommissioning, and
many
URLs will change as a result of the migration.A document that lists
the
main LAMP, GLMP, and storm surge web pages that are being migrated to
the
new web server, the current URL for each page, and the corresponding
new
URL can be viewed at:

https://vlab.noaa.gov/documents/6609493/7858387/Gate_MDL_URL_Transiti
on_Do
cument.pdf

Note that all links UNDER these pages, if beginning with
www.nws.noaa.gov,
will also change.

A legacy page that displays LAMP station forecast images, located at
https://www.nws.noaa.gov/mdl/gfslamp/stnplots.php, will not be
migrated to
the new web server and is thus being discontinued. Public comments on
the
proposed discontinuation of this page were previously solicited via
Public
Information Statement 24-11 at:
https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf_2023_24/pns24-
11_lamp_glmp_v2.6.pdf

MDL received no comments objecting to the discontinuation of the
stnplots.php webpage.
