APRIL 2018 WAS COLDER AND DRIER THAN NORMAL.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH WAS 39.5 DEGREES, WHICH WAS
5.4 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH
WAS 51.5 DEGREES, WITH AN AVERAGE LOW OF 27.5 DEGREES. THE WARMEST
DAY SAW A HIGH OF 82 DEGREES ON THE 28TH. THE LOW TEMPERATURE
DROPPED BELOW FREEZING ON EIGHTEEN DAYS, THE COLDEST BEING A LOW OF
0 DEGREES ON THE 1ST. THIS WAS THE ONLY DAY THAT REACHED A LOW OF 0
DEGREES THIS APRIL. A DAILY RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE WAS RECORDED ON
THE 6TH WHEN GLASGOW REACHED A LOW OF 4 DEGREES.

GLASGOW RECEIVED 5.6 INCHES OF SNOW DURING APRIL, WHICH WAS 1.9
INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THE SNOWIEST DAY OF THE MONTH WAS THE 8TH,
DURING WHICH 3.4 INCHES OF SNOW FELL.

GLASGOW RECEIVED 0.42 INCHES OF MOISTURE DURING THE MONTH, SOME OF
