...The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in South Carolina...

  Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Calhoun...Lexington
  and Richland Counties

  Congaree River At Congaree National Park-Gadsden affecting Calhoun
  and Richland Counties

.Rainfall amounts from 2 to 4 inches fell across the area on Sunday.
This has produced high flows along the Broad River and Congaree River.
This will produce some minor flooding along the Congaree River this
afternoon through Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Congaree River At Carolina Eastman
* from late tonight to late Thursday night...Or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  9 AM Tuesday the stage was 112.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 115.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early tomorrow
  morning and crest around 115.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon. The
  river will fall below flood stage Thursday April 19.
* At 115.0 feet...Flooding occurs in low lying areas of the Carolina
  Eastman Facility and at the Congaree National Park.

* Flood Warning for
  The Congaree River At Congaree National Park-Gadsden
* from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday morning...Or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  9 AM Tuesday the stage was 11.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon
  and crest around 15.7 feet after midnight Thursday morning. The
  river will fall below flood stage Friday April 20.
* At 15.0 feet...Flooding begins in the Congaree National Park. This
  will produce rises along Cedar Creek and some flooding of the lower
  trails within the park.
