...SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE COASTAL
WATERS TONIGHT...

A cold upper low and a fast moving frontal system will move
across the coastal waters tonight. There could be enough
instability with the system to allow for the development of
some thunderstorms, mainly north and west of Santa Rosa Island.
This includes far western portions of the Santa Barbara Channel.
The best chance of thunderstorms will be between midnight
tonight and 600 AM PDT Thursday.

Any thunderstorm that forms will be capable of producing locally
gusty winds and rough seas, dangerous lightning, heavy rainfall
with reduced visibility, small hail, and waterspouts.
