...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN NORTON AND NORTHEASTERN
DECATUR COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 532 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong
thunderstorm over Clayton, or 16 miles southwest of Norton, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported nickel size hail near
         Clayton.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Norton and
northeastern Decatur Counties, including the following locations...
Reager.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.
