...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN JASPER COUNTY THROUGH
515 AM CDT...

At 442 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Carl Junction, or 7 miles northwest of Joplin, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Joplin, Carthage, Webb City, Carl Junction, Oronogo, Carterville,
Duquesne, Duenweg, Airport Drive, Alba, Purcell, Carytown, Fidelity,
Asbury, Neck City, Brooklyn Heights, Reeds, Waco, Atlas, and Oakland
Park.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 44 between mile markers 10 and 25.
 Interstate 49 between mile markers 36 and 49.
