...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Fairfield, Lee, south central Chesterfield, northwestern Sumter,
northeastern Richland and Kershaw Counties through 715 PM EDT...

At 627 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lugoff, or near Camden, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Camden, Bishopville, Lake Wateree Dam, Dentsville, Lugoff,
Westville, Villages at Sandhill, Cassatt, Elgin, Killian, Lee State
Park, Lake Carolina, Goodale State Park, Sesquicentennial State Park,
Blythewood, Bethune, Lucknow, Dalzell, and Dinkins Mill.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 78 and 122.
 Interstate 77 between mile markers 19 and 27.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central South Carolina.
