Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
525 AM MDT Sat Apr 21 2018

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...A moist weather system will move
slowly east today, with light precipitation diminishing from west
to east. Temperatures will not warm very much, keeping humidities
high, and winds will generally be light. Smoke dispersal will be
poor on the plains, with better conditions over the mountains this
afternoon. Clouds will decrease tonight creating a cool night with
areas of fog on the plains.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sunday through Wednesday...
There will still be scattered snow showers in the mountains
on Sunday and Monday, but it will be dry and warmer across the
northeast plains. The next storm system will move across northern
Colorado Monday night and Tuesday with gusty northerly winds on
the plains along with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms.
Dry and warmer weather will return on Wednesday. Temperatures will
warm back above normal on Sunday and Monday, then below normal
Tuesday, near normal on Wednesday.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
