Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
330 AM CDT Sun May 12 2024

From the late evening through the overnight hours, weak high
pressure moved across the region while a cold front moved into
North Dakota and far northern Minnesota. Showers moved east across
the Boundary Waters of Minnesota ahead of the front, but they remained
well northwest of Wisconsin. Under increasing clouds,
temperatures fell into the middle 30s on Washington Island which
was the cold spot overnight. In contrast, temperatures remained in
the upper 40s at Manitowoc.

Scattered showers will be possible this morning over far northeast
Wisconsin, but most areas will see dry weather through about mid-
afternoon. The thunderstorms are expected to develop over far
northern Wisconsin in the 3 pm to 5 pm time frame before dropping
south across central Wisconsin and east-central Wisconsin. Some
storms may become strong to severe and produce strong, gusty winds.
Isolated pockets of hail also look possible.
