.SHORT TERM...
(Rest of today through Wednesday)
Issued at 1232 PM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

High pressure over the SE US coast today will slide off into the
western Atlantic on Wednesday. Beautiful conditions are expected
across South FL with partly cloudy skies along the east coast metro
and mostly clear conditions over the interior and SW FL. Slightly
below normal temps are expected near the Atlantic coast with highs
today and tomorrow in the upper 70s to lower 80s, while middle 80s
are expected across SW FL with the predominantly E/NE flow. Low
temps tonight will range from the upper 50s around the lake to mid
and upper 60s closer to the coasts.

&&

.LONG TERM...
(Wednesday night through next Monday)
Issued at 257 PM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

Upper level ridging and surface high will prevail over the region,
allowing for mostly dry and seasonable conditions to persist
through the period. A few isolated showers could move across the
local Atlantic waters and the East Coast over the weekend as low-
level moisture advection takes place, with PoPs capped at 20%.
Easterly winds will help keep temperatures warm, especially along
the southwest, with high temperatures in the mid-upper 80s each
afternoon. Temperatures along the East Coast will be tempered by
the easterly breeze, with highs in the low 80s expected.

.AVIATION...
(06Z TAFS)
Issued at 112 AM EDT Wed Apr 24 2024

VFR conditions will prevail through the period. Light east-
northeast winds this morning will trend easterly by the afternoon
with speeds 10-15 kts and occasional gusts to 20 kts. KAPF will
likely have a wind shift to westerly in the afternoon.

&&

.MARINE...
Issued at 1232 PM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

Hazardous marine conditions will linger through this evening for the
Atlantic waters due to elevated seas of 5-8 ft. Mostly benign
conditions are expected Wednesday through Friday with moderate to
fresh easterly breezes expected. Seas in the Atlantic will subside
to 2-4 ft for the middle to end of the week, while seas in the Gulf
will be 2 ft or less. Hazardous conditions may return late Friday
and into the weekend as easterly flow strengthens.

&&

.BEACHES...
Issued at 1232 PM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

A high risk of rip currents will remain through much of this week
for the Atlantic beaches due to persistent easterly flow.
