Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
914 PM MDT Sat May 26 2018

...A Red Flag Warning remains in effect from Noon until 9 PM MDT
Sunday for gusty winds, low humidity, and dry fuels for fire
weather zones 220 through 230, which includes all areas from the
I-25 corridor and westward to the Continental Divide...

.Discussion...

Gusty winds, low humidities and dry fuels has lead to high fire danger
on Sunday in areas from along the I-25 corridor and westward to the
Continental Divide. On Sunday there may be some thunderstorms
over the far southeast plains, with the potential for a couple severe
storms. There may be some spotty areas of critical fire weather conditions
on Monday, mainly in the San Luis Valley. Higher humidities and lighter
winds on Tuesday and Wednesday will mean a break from critical fire
weather conditions, but then drier and windier weather is expected
for the end of the week.

Smoke dispersion will be very good to excellent both Sunday and
Monday afternoon.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
