.Discussion...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over the district
today, especially along and south of the US-50 corridor. The
overall best chance of precipitation will be over the southwest
mountains. North of the US-50 corridor will see showers and
storms, but the activity will be more isolated. Temperatures will
be much warmer today than yesterday, with highs in the 80s over
the plains and 60s larger valleys.

On Tuesday, scattered shower and storms will occur over the
mountains with isolated activity over the plains.

Drier conditions will occur over the district Wednesday into the
weekend.

Gusty southwest winds along with low humidity values will occur
over the district on Wednesday.

Smoke dispersion today across the district will generally be
good. Smoke dispersion tomorrow across all of the district will
generally be excellent.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
