REMARKS...

2016 AT THE FARGO (HECTOR INTL AIRPORT) SITE WAS MUCH WARMER THAN
AVERAGE. IN FACT, THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 46.7 DEGREES WAS THE
HIGHEST RECORDED SINCE MEASUREMENTS BEGAN IN 1881. THE PREVIOUS
HIGH WAS ONLY 4 YEARS AGO IN 2012, WITH A MARK OF 46.3 DEGREES.

DURING 2016 23.53 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL, ABOUT AN INCH HIGHER
THAN AVERAGE. ANNUAL SNOWFALL WAS 28.8 INCHES, FAR SHORT OF THE
AVERAGE OF 50 INCHES.
