...Extreme to Exceptional Drought Continues for Some...

While there has been some improvement of drought conditions in the
last month, long-term dryness, notably in the 180-day time frame,
with widespread precipitation deficits of 8 to 12 inches across the
Kansas and Missouri River valleys, is keeping the area in extreme to
exceptional drought.
