If there are questions or concerns with this forecast, or if conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service in Duluth at 218-729-0653. .DISCUSSION... Easterly winds are expected to continue increasing in speed into the afternoon. Breezy conditions should keep smoke dispersal conditions excellent by this afternoon. Cloud cover will also be on the increase with rain showers moving in starting around noon and increasing in intensity through the afternoon. There may be some downsloping effects due to the North Shore ridge that may keep total rainfall totals down to around 0.1" to 0.2" through Wednesday. RH is expected to tumble to around 35-40% in the early afternoon, but there`s some uncertainty on just how dry it will get as it depends on how quickly rain moves in. After rain does move in during the early afternoon, expect RH values to rise. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (60-70 percent) then becoming cloudy (85-95 percent).
