WEATHER SYNOPSIS

AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN WILL REMAIN IN PLACE THIS WEEK ACROSS
OUR REGION. THE FIRST CHANCE FOR RAIN WILL SPREAD NORTHWARD
TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY. SOME SNOW IS
POSSIBLE ACROSS OUR NORTHWEST COUNTIES TUESDAY EVENING BEFORE
TEMPERATURES WARM OVERNIGHT. PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS LOOK TO RANGE
FROM LESS THAN AN INCH IN NORTHWEST COUNTIES TO NEARLY 3 INCHES IN
PORTIONS OF WEST KENTUCKY. A SECOND SYSTEM LOOKS TO IMPACT THE
REGION FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY, WITH MORE HEAVY RAINFALL AND
EVEN SOME THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE. TEMPERATURES WILL START OFF COOL
WITH HIGHS ONLY IN THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
THE REST OF THE PERIOD WILL SEE TEMPERATURES AT OR ABOVE NORMAL
WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 40S TO 50S WEDNESDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
SATURDAY LOOKS LIKE THE WARMEST DAY WITH HIGHS INTO THE 60S.
