NORTHERN ATKINSON...NORTHWESTERN WARE...BACON...JEFF DAVIS AND
APPLING COUNTIES THROUGH 745 AM EDT...

At 655 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Tarrytown to 7 miles southeast of Ocilla.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Douglas, Baxley, Hazlehurst, Alma, Pearson, Willacoochee, Broxton,
Ambrose, Graham, and Plant Hatch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
