...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL EVANGELINE...
SOUTHEASTERN AVOYELLES AND NORTHEASTERN ST. LANDRY PARISHES THROUGH
1215 PM CDT...

At 1144 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Grand Prairie, or near Ville Platte, moving northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ville Platte, Moreauville, Bayou Current, Morrow, Cottonport,
Mansura, Evergreen, Plaucheville, Goudeau, Indian Lake, Whiteville,
Big Cane, Dupont, Grand Prairie, Lebeau, and Hamburg.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 32 and 44.
