...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SCURRY AND SOUTHEASTERN BORDEN
COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 348 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of J B Thomas Reservoir, or 10 miles southwest of
Snyder, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Snyder, Inadale, Dunn, Hermleigh, Randalls Corner, Ira, Winston
Field, and Knapp.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for western
Texas.
