...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN PERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 630 AM CDT...

At 602 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Altenburg, or 14 miles north of Trail Of Tears State Park, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Altenburg, Frohna, Longtown, and Old Appleton.

This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 120 and 123.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for southeastern
Missouri.
