NORTHEASTERN STANISLAUS AND SOUTHWESTERN CALAVERAS COUNTIES THROUGH
830 PM PDT...

At 746 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms south
of Copperopolis, or 10 miles northeast of Oakdale, moving northeast
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Turlock, Oakdale, Waterford, Hickman, Copper Cove Village, Keystone,
Telegraph City, East Oakdale, Angels City, Chinese Camp, Eugene,
Hodson, Copperopolis, La Grange, Hughson, Denair, and Angels Camp.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
