...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM AST EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Manati.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM AST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Particularly
  along the Rio Grande de Manati.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1204 AM AST, At 10:45 PM AST gauge reports indicated
    flooding due to Excessive Runoff. Flooding is ongoing in the
    warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
