.DISCUSSION...Mainly dry weather is expected today, with just a
slight chance of afternoon showers over and near the southern
Black Hills. High temperatures will be in the mid 60s to lower 70s,
and the minimum relative humidity will range from 26 to 36
percent. Northwest winds, with gusts of 20 to 30 mph, are
expected this afternoon.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Saturday afternoon, The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
