...The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued
a Hydrologic Statement in cooperation with the California Department
of Water Resources for the following rivers in California...

  Smith River Near Dr Fine Bridge affecting Del Norte County

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about
two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions,
call Caltrans at 1-800-427-7623.

local TV or radio stations.

This will be the last statement for this event unless warranted by
changing conditions.

* At 04:15 AM Tuesday, the stage was 26.7 feet.
* No flooding is forecast.
* Monitor stage is 27.0 feet, flood stage is 33.0 feet.
* The river will continue to recede to near 19.0 FT
  around mid day on Wednesday.
