Hydrologic Statement

For the Cowskin Creek, the following locations are included: Wichita
At 119th Street.

At Wichita At 119th Street:
* No flooding is forecast at this time.
* The 2 PM Sunday stage was 16.2 feet and falling.
* The flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* It is forecast to crest around 17.2 feet early Monday morning.
* At 18.0 feet...Flood waters backup into residential yards southeast
of river gage site along Lost Creek Circle and southeast of Central
and Karren Streets. Flood waters begin to creep over 13th street in
the low water spot about a half mile west of 119th Street. Expect
typical flooding of low water crossings and low cropland areas as
well as fields near the creek.
