...RISES EXPECTED ON STEHEKIN RIVER...

Periods of rain showers over the holiday weekend followed by
warm weather next week will likely cause rises on the Stehekin
River. Mountain snow melt entering the Stehekin River will
have the potential to push it near or above Action Stage next week.

 Action stage >>  22.0 feet.
 Flood stage >>  24.0 feet.
 Most recent reading >>  21.4 feet at 3 PM Saturday.
 Forecast / remarks >> The Stehekin River at Stehekin is
  to rise over the weekend in response to periods of rain showers.
  As warmer temperatures arrive next week, the river will have the potential
  to climb near or above the Action Stage of 22 feet in the
  Wednesday to Friday time frame. At this time...the Stehekin River
  is expected to remain below flood stage.
