HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

...The Merced River at Stevinson will remain above monitor stage
through Wednesday afternoon...

.Snowmelt over the high Sierra Nevada combined with large water
releases out of dams will produce moderately high water levels
along many mainstem rivers for the next several days.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage.
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

    Forecast to fall below monitor stage of 67.0 FT this afternoon
then forecast to recede to near 65.5 FT tomorrow afternoon then
forecast to fluctuate near 65.5 FT thru tomorrow evening.
      Monitor stage 67.0 ft, Flood stage 71.0 ft

IMPACT...NEAR 65.0 feet, Hagaman Park along Highway 165 begins to
flood.
