...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN
LITCHFIELD...SOUTHWESTERN BERKSHIRE...ULSTER...NORTHERN DUTCHESS...
COLUMBIA AND GREENE COUNTIES...

At 1049 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Chatham to near Roxbury. Movement was
south at 50 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Poughkeepsie, Kingston, New Paltz, Hudson, Ellenville, Catskill,
Saugerties, Rhinebeck, Chatham, Hunter, Hyde Park, Pleasant Valley,
Hurley, Claverack, Woodstock, Amenia, Livingston, Copake, Sheffield
and Coxsackie.

This includes Interstate 87 between exits 18 and 21B.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized poor drainage flooding. Do not drive your vehicle
through flooded roadways.
