...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN MARIES...NORTHWESTERN
DENT...EASTERN PULASKI AND PHELPS COUNTIES THROUGH 430 AM CDT...

At 348 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles north of Salem, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Rolla, Fort Leonard Wood, Salem, St. Robert, St. James, Dixon,
Doolittle, Newburg, Edgar Springs, Lenox, Beulah, Devil`s Elbow,
Vichy, Lake Spring, Anutt, Bangert, Howes, Northwye, Lecoma, and
Jerome.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 159 and 169, and
between mile markers 171 and 200.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for south central,
central and east central Missouri.
