Mission, Weslaco, Raymondville, Brownsville, Harlingen,
Port Mansfield, Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Laguna Heights,
and Laguna Vista

...Gusty Southerly Winds Expected...

Southerly winds have increased along and east of the I69C
corridor. Observations have shown sustained winds of around 25
miles per hour with gusts above 35 mile per hour were common
across the lower Rio Grande Valley and coastal locations of Deep
South Texas.

Motorists in high profile or wind susceptible vehicles are urged
to drive with caution, especially over flyovers and causeways.
Additionally, motorists should expect strong crosswinds along east
to west oriented highways include Interstate 2 between Harlingen
and McAllen.
