At 716 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over U S 77 Border Patrol Station, or 7 miles north of Armstrong, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Armstrong, Sarita, Kenedy County Wind Farms, U S 77 Border Patrol Station, Kenedy County Sheriffs Office, and Armstrong Ranch Airport. This includes US Highway 77 between mile markers 712 and 740.
