south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

Elevated fire conditions may exist this afternoon by Elkhart.
Winds though will remain are the more marginal side.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Friday

An active fire weather pattern will be in place with the potential
for fire danger each day. Burning should be avoided.

Storms may be possible Monday evening. A severe thunderstorm threat
may exist, however, exact storm details are unclear at time. Keep
updated with the forecast as the details become more clear.
