This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

The entire outlook area will be prone to seeing at least spotty
thunderstorm activity this afternoon into this evening, with
storm chances then fading away from west to east between sunset
and roughly midnight.

While the majority of storms that occur within our area will
likely be fairly weak, there is a Marginal Risk that a few storms
could be strong to severe, mainly between 3 and 10 PM. Should any
severe storms occur, the main threats would be hail up to around
the size of quarters, and/or wind gusts up to around 60 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Sunday through Tuesday, periodic thunderstorm chances return to
our area. It is too early to confidently assess the potential for
severe thunderstorms, but early indications suggest that Sunday
and Monday could feature at least some concern.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report possible hail or damaging winds
that might occur with any spotty severe thunderstorm activity
through this evening.
