...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ROBESON...NORTHWESTERN BLADEN...
DILLON AND SOUTHEASTERN MARLBORO COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 736 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Shannon to 6 miles southwest of Dunbar.
Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Red Springs, Pembroke, St. Pauls, Clio, Raemon, Rex, Prospect,
  Shannon, Dunbar, and Bingham around 740 PM EDT.
  Rowland, Little Rock, Purvis, and Elrod around 745 PM EDT.
  Lumberton, Dillon, Tolarsville, Tobermory, South Of The Border,
  Barker Ten Mile, Hamer, and Robeson Community College around 750
  PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Raynham, Blenheim,
Tar Heel, Lumber Bridge, Mcdonald, Rennert, Mcleod Medical Center,
Southeastern Regional Medical Center, and Parkton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers 179 and 198.
 Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 1 and 37.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina...and northeastern South Carolina.
