...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 AM EDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin
  and Licking.

* WHEN...Until 215 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1135 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported minor
    flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
    possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Columbus, Newark, Westerville, Worthington, Heath, Granville,
    Pataskala, Johnstown, Sunbury, Utica, Minerva Park, Hanover,
    Granville South, Marne, New Albany, Jersey, Galena,
    Alexandria, Hartford and St. Louisville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
