Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
414 AM CDT Tue May 7 2024

.DISCUSSION...Isolated to scattered showers and storms will be
possible later this afternoon. Southerly flow will continue to
bring warm/humid air to the area, resulting in additional showers
and thunderstorms later in the evening, increasing humidity, and
above-seasonal temperatures across all fire districts today. RH
values will remain above critical threshold which will help limit
any fire weather concerns. Dense fog is not expected.
