Synopsis for Altamaha Sound GA to Flagler Beach FL out to 60 nm-
1047 AM EDT Fri Mar 22 2024

.SYNOPSIS...

Southeasterly winds will continue to strengthen across area
waters this afternoon as a low pressure system approaches from the
west. Across the nearshore waters, small craft conditions will
begin to develop early this afternoon while gale force winds and
rising seas occur offshore. A pair of cold fronts will press
across the waters through Saturday. Behind these fronts, a surge
of northerly winds is anticipated as low pressure to the
northeast, near the Delmarva peninsula, intensifies. Subsiding
winds and seas are expected Sunday night into Monday as high
pressure situated to the north becomes the dominant feature. High
pressure will shift offshore into the Atlantic through Tuesday as
another cold front approaches from the west and eventually presses
southeastward through the waters on Thursday.
