Coastal Waters Forecast for the Florida Keys

Florida Bay, Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef
to south of Dry Tortugas, and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
Mexico, including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Seas are given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas

.SYNOPSIS...An ongoing nocturnal surge is maintaining moderate to
fresh northwest breezes across all waters this morning. Breezes
will ultimately shift quickly to the northeast then east Monday
and Monday night, and slacken by Tuesday. Southeast breezes will
freshen once again by Tuesday. By Thursday night, winds will shift
to the northwest ahead of another approaching late season cold
front and freshen considerably.

The Approximate Shoreward Edge of the Gulf Stream is currently
unavailable.
