...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF NORTHWESTERN ST.
TAMMANY, NORTHEASTERN TANGIPAHOA AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON PARISHES,
NORTHEASTERN HANCOCK AND CENTRAL PEARL RIVER COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 AM
CDT
...

At 1134 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Franklinton to Folsom. Movement was east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bogalusa, Franklinton, Poplarville, Folsom, Sun, Enon, Crossroads,
Mcneil, and Wilmer.

This includes Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 13
and 28.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for southeastern
Louisiana. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 300 AM CDT
for southern Mississippi.
