...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SIMPSON...CENTRAL
ALLEN AND SOUTHERN WARREN COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM CDT...

At 829 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Memphis Junction, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bowling Green, Scottsville, Memphis Junction, Franklin, Woodburn,
Three Forks, Hardcastle, Allen Springs, Oak Forest, and West Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Kentucky.
