For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
A 30.5 inch high will drift off the southern New England coast this
evening. A broad area of low pressure averaging 29.7 inches will
move from the Ohio Valley Tuesday to near Long Island on Wednesday.
A cold front will then move across the eastern Great Lakes Wednesday
night. A 30.0 inch high will then build into the Ohio Valley
Thursday and Friday.

.TONIGHT...East winds 5 to 15 knots becoming south. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. A chance of showers
early in the afternoon. Rain likely late. Waves 1 foot or less.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east.
Rain. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds 10 knots or less becoming northwest and
increasing to 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Rain. Waves 1 to
2 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west.
Occasional rain. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 3 to 6 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 15 to 25 knots becoming south and
diminishing to 5 to 15 knots. A chance of showers. Waves 3 to
6 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less.
.FRIDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northwest. A chance
of rain showers Friday night. Waves 1 foot or less.
.SATURDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest. A
chance of rain showers. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
