For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.6 inch low over the Deep South will track
northeastward to near Lake Erie and deepen to 29.1 inches by late
Thursday. This low will begin to fill Thursday night, while
pushing a cold front across the lake. A secondary cold front will
pass across the lake Friday night. A 29.9 inch ridge of high
pressure will move across the lake by Saturday night. A 29.6 inch
area of low pressure may move across the lake Sunday.

.OVERNIGHT...Northeast winds 10 knots or less becoming
east. Rain late. Waves 1 foot or less.
.THURSDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southeast.
Showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 6 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming south.
Showers with a chance of evening thunderstorms. Waves 3 to 5 feet
subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds increasing to 30 knots. Showers likely
in the morning, then just a chance of showers in the afternoon.
Waves building to 5 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 knots becoming west.
Showers. Waves further building to 8 to 12 feet. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds to 30 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots.
Showers. Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers.
Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast. Waves
1 to 3 feet.

.FRIDAY...South winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southwest. Showers

afternoon. Waves 4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 knots becoming west and
increasing to 35 knot gales overnight. Showers. Waves building to
10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.SATURDAY...West gales to 40 knots diminishing to 15 to 20 knots.
Showers. Waves 14 to 18 feet subsiding to 6 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 23 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers. Waves
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
