For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A large storm system will move from the northern
Plains to the upper Mississippi Valley tonight, before shifting
east into the Great Lakes Wednesday. The weakening storm system
will pass to the northwest of the lake Wednesday night and
Thursday sending a cold front across the lake Wednesday night. The
next storm system will then slowly cross northern Ontario and
northern Quebec Friday and Saturday sending a secondary cold front
across the Lake Friday night, while expansive high pressure moves
from the Canadian Rockies to the central Plains.

.OVERNIGHT...East winds less than 10 knots increasing to
15 to 25 knots. Waves 2 feet or less building to 3 to 6 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds to 30 knots. A chance of showers early,
then showers. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms late. Waves
6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds to 30 knots becoming southeast
15 to 25 knots. Showers. Waves 5 to 9 feet subsiding to 3 to
6 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.THURSDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest.
Showers in the morning, then showers likely in the afternoon.
Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 2 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming
southeast. A chance of showers in the evening. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. Showers
likely. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. A chance of rain showers during the day. Waves 2 to
4 feet.
.SUNDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 3 feet.

.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southeast.
Showers likely in the evening, then showers overnight. Waves 3 to
6 feet.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds to 30 knots becoming south 15 to
25 knots. Showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
