THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.HIGH WIND IMPACT...
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Volusia county coast for
north to northeast winds around 25 mph, gusting frequently to 35
mph. Occasional gusts up to 40 mph will be possible. Elsewhere, it
will also be a windy day with winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts around
30 mph.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A HIGH risk of life threatening rip currents exists at all beaches
of east central Florida. Entering the surf is not advised.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for north to northeast winds
18 to 25 knots with occasional gusts to Gale force. Seas will
build rapidly 6 to 8 feet nearshore and 9 to 11 feet in the Gulf
Stream.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
Boating and surf conditions are expected to remain poor to
hazardous through mid-week as moderate to large, long period
swells propagate into the local Atlantic waters. A HIGH risk of
life threatening rip currents will continue.

Scattered showers and lightning storms are forecast on Thursday
associated with the next cold frontal passage.
