...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...
A cold front is bringing wetting rain to the Bay Area this evening,
with showers lingering into Sunday. There is a slight- moderate
chance of wet thunderstorms Saturday afternoon. Strong southwest
winds are being observed in the North Bay mountains and will spread
south as the front advances. Winds will remain strong, but shift to
a W-NW direction Saturday and Sunday. After the showers taper off
Sunday, a few dry days are expected before more light rain returns
in the middle of the week. Afternoon temperatures will be roughly
10 degrees F cooler next week than they have been this week, helping
to keep the humidity high.
...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...
A front moving onshore this morning will bring rain and gusty winds.
There will be a brief break in the weather this afternoon. Showers
and isolated thunderstorms are expected this evening and Saturday
with snow levels falling to around 4000 feet. Drier weather is
expected Sunday with additional wet weather expected next week.
