This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

There is a low chance (less than 20 percent) for a thunderstorm to
develop after 10pm for locations along and northwest of a line
from Pittsburg, Kansas to Warsaw, Missouri. If these thunderstorms
form they will be capable of producing hail up to the size of
quarters and lightning. Most locations will remain dry tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Additional thunderstorms are expected to occur across the area
during the morning into the early evening hours Thursday as a
cold front moves southeast through the region. The best coverage
in storms should generally be along and east of Highway 65 with
coverage more in question west of Highway 65. There is the
potential for severe thunderstorms with this activity with
damaging winds and large hail to the size of golf balls the main
risks.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
