NEBRASKA PANHANDLE FIRE WEATHER AREA TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
A strong cold front to our west presently is forecast to move east
this evening. Ahead of this front...strong south winds are forecast
to impact the Nebraska Panhandle with strong south winds. Behind
the front...very strong westerly winds are expected to develop and
continue through Monday into Tuesday before easing. Additionally we
expect widespread snow to develop in the mountains with significant
snow in the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges. Winter Storm Warning in
effect for the Sierra Madre Range with a Winter Weather Advisory
for the Snowy Range. Winds finally begin easing Tuesday night...but
the wind prone areas may see strong winds into Wednesday.
