STRONG WINDS, LOW HUMIDITY, RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES...

.DISCUSSION...High pressure moved east of the area today allowing southwest
winds ahead of an approaching strong low pressure system entering the Great
Basin. Tonight will be clear and cool with downvalley breezes dominating.
Saturday will be sunny and unstable, continued dry and very hot for this
time of year. Southwest winds will increase by late morning and become
fairly strong by about 1 pm MDT. Gusts to 35 mph will be common between
1 pm and 7 pm.
