SOUTHEASTERN PRINCE GEORGES...CHARLES AND EASTERN KING GEORGE
COUNTIES...

At 613 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Port Tobacco River
to near Colonial Beach. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

Gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible with these storms. Locally heavy
rainfall can also be expected.

Locations impacted include...
Waldorf, Lexington Park, Chesapeake Ranch Estates, La Plata,
Chesapeake Beach, Leonardtown, Dahlgren, Prince Frederick, Saint
Inigoes Creek, Saint Marys City, Hallowing Point, Saint Leonard
Creek, Breezy Point, Town Creek, Saint Marys River, Cuckold Creek,
Sheridan Point, Port Tobacco River, Flag Harbor and Popes Creek.

Locally heavy rainfall may cause ponding of water on roadways and
cause small streams to go out of their banks. Be alert for the
potential of standing water and hydroplaning.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southern and central Maryland...and central Virginia.
